SERVICES PROCUREMENT NOTICE
The Bulgarian National Vine and Wine Chamber invites interested parties to tender as the Implementation Body for a project called “Taste the Tradition” which will undertake a synergistic series of promotion and information measures designed: a) To inform and educate consumers and the trade about the variety, quality and production conditions of Community wines, and their rich history and tradition, and b) To promote not less than ten hitherto little or unknown higher value quality Bulgarian wines with the objective of defining their niche in the markets of Great Britain and Ireland, and thereby quantitatively increasing their export volumes.
This 3 year Project Proposal to the European Commission is part of the EU Support Programme for promotion of EU agricultural products on the internal market under the funding scheme for Promotion Programmes Co-Financed by the EU (Council Regulation (EC) No 3/2008 and Commission Regulation (EC) No 501/2008).
“Taste the Tradition” is a highly interactive project that seeks to involve consumers, opinion formers, buyers and educators who are already in the wine market in Great Britain and Ireland, in learning about and learning to enjoy responsibly high quality, niche PGI, PDO and varietal wines from Bulgaria in the context of their EU origin and tradition.
Tender documents outlining the contract specification, conditions of participation, provisional timetable, selection and award criteria and application details will be sent to all candidates applying to this Invitation to Tender.
