VINEX SLAVYANTSI


The VINEX SLAVYANTSI is a well-known Bulgarian wine company located in the famous Sungurlare valley which is the most Eastern part of Bulgarian sub-Balkan wine-growing and wine-producing region. The archaeological finds and monuments point to the fact that both wine-growing and wine-producing have been known there since ancient times; in modern times these are the basic economic activities. A most peculiar characteristic of the region is, that wine-growing is predominantly meant for wine-producing. Wine massifs are compact and located on the slopes of the hilly country. This is an environmentally pure region.

The main white wine varieties include Red Misket, Muscat Otonnel, Chardonnais, Riesling and Ugni Blanc, while Cabernet, Merlot and Pamid produce the main sorts of red wines. White varieties are prevailing.

The VINEX SLAVYANTSI is the owner of modern technical base of large capacity. These are four well-equipped wine cellars for grape-processing and winifica-tion, located at differnt places: the village of Slavyantsi, the town of Sungurlare, the town of Karnobat and the village of Chernitsa.
 


 
The company is also the owner of three up-to-date lines designed to stabilize and bottle gentle and sparkling wines, to produce and bottle ver-mouth, bitter, grape brandy and wine brandy. These are located in the town of Sungurlare and the village of Lozarevo.






 
      

BORIS

Red dry wine produced from "Cabernet Sauvignon" grape variety. The grape variety gives a full bodied wine, with exceptional elegance and harmony. The suitable local climatic conditions and deeply rooted traditions of sensitivity in creating high quality are captured in this superb example. It is best served at room temperature and goes well with grilled red meat, game or mature cheese.



 
 
BRASKO

White semisweet wine, with alcohol content of 12% vol. and sugar content of 80 - 100 gr/l. It is produced from very sweet grapes which are in full ripe. The wine grows mature in barrels of the oak wood, that gives it bright - amber colour. The flavour is delightful, a with honey accent. The taste is strongly sweet, but harmonious soft and warm.

 
 
CABERNET FROM KARNOBAT

The high quality semi - dry wine CABERNET FROM KARNOBAT is of the type appellation d'origine wines, produced from selected grapes cultivated in our own vineyards situated in the area of Karnobat. The excellence of the grapes combined with a skillful vinification process results in a wine of style and balance. It possesses a Garnet red colour and the aromas of wild strawberries and peppery spices. The combination of residual sugar and ageing in American oak barriques displays the final sense of a soft and longlasting taste.

 
 
CHARDONNAY FROM SLAVYANTSI


The grapes for this appellation d'origine controlee wine from the Slavyantsi cellars, are grown in the ecologically clean Sungurlare valley. The wine is produced from selected vineyards grown with love and special care by the winery workers. The Chardonnay ferments in American oak barriques and is aged on lees for twelve months. The wine style retains fruit, intensity and combines a wealth of bouquet, with a mixture of citrus and tropical fruits and wellintegrated oak Brilliant in the glass, showing straw-green colours. Dry, with balanced acidity, juicy and harmonious. A memorable wine with pronounced freshness and a long, attractive finish.

 
 
CHATEAU SLAVYANTSI - CHARDONNAY

Quality Wine of Declared Geographic Region. High - quality - grade white dry wine, produced from "Chardonnay" noble grape variety, grown in a microregion of Slavyantsi village, Bourgas District, which is controlled by the Law. This wine ferments and matures in 225 liter-barreals of the California oak wood, the "Barrique" - type. It has the beatiful colour of straw - green with golden brilliance. The flavour is intensively rich, reminding of flowers and apples blended with banana and honey. The gastatory aroma is very fine and penetrating, with an accent of noble oak. The taste is substantial and elegant, with long after - taste of mature wine. During the period of maturing this wine develops an excellent bouquet. It can be stored for more than 5 years. Ideals to be consumed with tender meats, fish, poultry, as well as pastries and table luxuries from kernels. Served slightly chilled at temperature of 12 - 140 C. Bottled only the producer.



 
 
CHATEU SLAVYANTSY - CABERNET

Quality Wine of Declared Geographic Region. Red dry high - quality wine, produced from the ripe grapes of the "Cabernet Sauvignon" grape variety. The alcohol content of minimum 12% vol. It has a dep ruby colour and pure clarity. This wine matures in barrels for more than 1 years and after that it is bottled. The wine is of the "Bordo" - type and develops a strong bouquet and elegant taste, combined with rich fruitfulness and mildness. It goes well with game, veal, pork and different types of cheese and dry salamis. To be served at temperature of 16 - 180 C. This wine can be preserved for over 5 years. Estate bottled.

 
 
CHATEAU SLAVYANTSI - MERLOT

Quality Wine of Declared Geographic Region. Red dry high quality wine, produced from the "Merlot" grape variety growing in the region of "Vinex Slavyantsi". The alcohol content in the wine is 12% vol. It has a deep ruby colour. The flavour is marked blended with tones of noble oak. This wine matures for more that 1 years in barrels and trus develops a strong bouquet with raspberry tones. The taste becomes will - unastringent but surprisingly elegant and warm. The wine is offered with big game meat dishes, cheeses or durable salamis. Served at 16 - 180 C. Bottled only by the producer.

 
 
CHATEAU SLAVYANTSI - MISKET

Quality Wine of Declared Geographic Region. High - quality white dry wine, produced from "Misket" grape variety groiwn in the region of Sungurlare. With bright straw - green colour and crystal clarity. The aroma of this wine has the bouquet of the grape variety and the fragrance of the flowers of the fields, dried ripe fruits and baked bread with an accent of roasted oak wood. The taste corresponds the richly composed aroma elegant and enriched by the savour of oak which the wine gets during the long maturing in barrels of the oak wood, soft, harmonious and delightful. The best when consumed 12 months after the purchase. If in bottles, this wine ca be preserved up to 3 years. Served at 12 - 140 C of temperature with tender white meats, fish, pates. It goes well with pastries as well.

 
 
CHATEAU SLAVYANTSI - MUSKAT

Quality Wine of Declared Geographic Region. High - quality - grade white dry wine, produced from the grapes of the "Muskat Otonel" grape variety, growing in the region of "Vinex Slavyantsi". It has an attractive bright straw colour, and with crystal brilliance. The flavour of this wine is of the strong muskat one, with tones of oil - yielding rose scent. The taste is harmonious, refreshed by fine mildness. Better to be consumed 12 months after the purchase and potentially possible for strong up to 3 years. Served at 12 - 140 C chilled. It goes well with tender meat dishes, fish, poultry, as well as with pastries. Bottled only by the producer.

 
 
WINE DORIS

Grape varieties: Chardonnay and Italian Riesling. These varieties are grown in the Sub Balkan vine growing and wine producing region known as the Valley of the Roses and is vinified by Vinex Slavyantsi.
Wine- making process:
The grapes are premium selection and harvested by hand. After destemming by modern Armbuster crushers the must is pressed and drained with pneumatic/ membrane "Defrancheski" presses. The juice is inoculated with selected aromatic dry yeast strains and fermentation temperature is controlled at 12-14(C.
After fermentation the wine is sulphered, stabilized and filtered. Storage is in stainless steel vessels under strict observation by the wine makers until orders for bottling are received.

 
 
MISKET FROM SUNGURLARE

This wine is protected the Law as wine under Control of Origin. It is produced from "Red Misket" grape variety grown in a special microregion of Sungurlare. It is with bright-greenish colour, crystal clarity and fine misket flavour. The taste is excellent - of fruits and felt for long, with apricot, forest strawberry and honey accents. After 3 years of maturing the bottles can be offered as wine from the collection reserve. It is recommendably drunk with light young meats, fish, poultry, sweets and cakes with walnuts, almonds, etc. It is served slightly chilled at temperature of 12 - 14°C. Estate bottled at "Vinex Slavyantsi".


 
 
ROZE

"Chateau Slavyantsi Cabernet Sauvignon Roze" is vinted under a special technology from the world famous "Cabernet Sauvignon" grape variety grown in the distingnished "Rose Valley". Fine rose dry wine with excellent aroma of wild strawberry and raspberry. The wine is know for its harmonious, elegant, fruity and wild taste. It is consumed with white meat, sweets, nuts. Best served chilled at 12- 14°C.

 
 
SANTIA RED

Red semisweet wine, produced from the grape of the "Cabernet Sauvignon" variety. It has a deep ruby colour and crystal clarity and marked flavour with accent of violets, pepper and black currants. The taste is light, delighfully substantial and harmonious, giving a warm feeling in the mouth when consumed. This wine gets mature in barrels of the wood not less than 12 months. Served at temperature of 16 - 18°C with fatty meats, game, barbecued meat and meat delicacies.


 
 
SANTIA WHITE

White semisweet wine. The flavour its strong and fruity, the taste - soft, elegant and harmonious. And in addition to these qualities, you can mention the beautiful bright - greenish colour and sparkling clarity that give this wine the character of mature wine. It is served slightly cooled with white meats, poultry, fish and dry delicacies, as well as with sweets and other table luxuries. Bottled by the producer.

 
 
SOPHIA CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Red dry wine, produced from "Cabernet Sauvignon" noble grape variety. With deep red colour and a flavour, typical for this grape variety but with a tone of pepper and violets, and harmonious, soft taste, this wine fills the month and warms it up when drunk. Maturing brings the wine an excellend bouquet. It is consumed with pork, veal or different kinds of cheeses, served at room temperature 16 - 180 C. The wine can be stored in bottles for over 3 years, but it is preferable to be consumed up to 1 year after its purchase.

 
 
SOPHIA MERLO

Red dry wine, made of "Merlot" grape variety from the region of "Vinex Slavyantsi". Dark - red coloured, with fine marked branded flavour and good bouquet after maturing. The taste is well balanced, soft and velvet, not substantiated with phenol compounds. The alcohol content is 11.5% vol. Served at temperature of 16 - 180 C with rich meats, big game meat, poultry, salmis, etc. It is preferable the wine to be consumed up to 1 year after the purchase, but in bottles this wine can be stored for more than 3 years.


 
 
SOPHIA MISKET

White dry wine, made of "Red Misket" grape variety - old and typically Bulgarian grape variety grown in the region of Sungurlare. The colour of the wine is invinting with its bright - straw - green and the crystal of limpidity. Its flavour is fine and strongly misket marked when the wine is new but after maturing it obtains a unique bouquet. The taste of the wine is fruity, harmonious and with good freshness. Ideal when consumed with tender meats and fish, but goes well with pastries and other table luxuries. Served slightly cooled to 12 -140 C.

 
 
SOPHIA MUSKAT

This white semidry wine is made of "Muskat O'tonel" grape variety, yielded from vineyards growing on ecologically clean land. The colour of bright straw, the strong muskat flavour with an accent of rose scent and the delightfully fresh harmonious taste and disarming sweetness make it consumable preferably with tender meats, fish, poultry, as well as with pastries, nuts and almonds when lightly cooled to 16 - 180 C. Better if drunk during the first years of purchase.

 
 
SOPHIA BLANC DE BLANCS

White semidry wine, made of grapes of the varieties "Red Misket" and "Muskat O'tonel". This wine has an irresistibly delicate and emphasized freshness and mildness. The beautiful bright straw - green colour of the wine and its crystal clarity invites you to drink it. It goes well with the dessert as well. Ideal to be served with pastries, walnuts and other table luxuries. Drinking temperature 12 - 14°C.

 
 
SOPHIA CHARDONNAY

White dry wine, produced from "Cardonnay" noble grape variety. It is delightfully fresh and with marked fruitfulness of the taste. The flavour remembers you of apples, flowers of the fields, blended with the savour of baked bread, honey and a hint of banana. A balanced mature wine having the potential for preservation in bottles. It is consumed young but can be stored as well for over 3 years in bottles. The maturing develops a strong bouquet. To be served at temperatures of 12 - 140 C with tender meats, fish, cheese. It is ideal with pastries, walnuts and almonds.


 
 
SOPHIA RIESLING

White semidry wine, produced from the grape variety of "Riesling". This is a beautifully straw - green coloured wine with crystal clarity and marked flavour with an accent of acacia and bee honey. The taste is fresh, substantial and well balanced, by the final touch of ripe fruits. When maturing the wine develops a nice bouquet. Preferably consumed with white meats, pastries, cakes, etc. Served at 12 - 140 C. If bottled, the wine can be stored for over 3 years, but it is better if it is consumed up to 1 years after the purchase.

 
 
SUNGURLARE CHARDONNAY

The high quality white dry wine SUNGURLARE CHARDONNAY is of the type appellation d'origine wines from the region of the famous Valley of the roses. The process of vinification embodies the knowledge. It possesses a powerful fruity bouquet, a full bodied structure and superb length. The wine offers delightful notes of nuts and tropical fruits. With its fresh, intense aromas on the nose SUNGURLARE CHARDONNAY can be drunk young.

IX international competition for the best wines in the world "CHARDONNAY DU MONDE" 2002 in Saint Lagar, Bourgund, France - Bulgarian wine Chardonnay - vintage 2001 from vinery seller Slavyantsi get the prize - silver medal. These competitions for wines, produced of grape varite Chardonnay participate winery over the world. According to regulation international autoritative jury anonymous were present 1200 sampes for 34 countries.

This wine "SUNGURLARE CHARDONNAY 2001" have received gold medal from world competition for wines MUNDOS WINI - Germany. In the competition were present 2800 wine from over the wolrld. 10 of its have received gold medal. This is the most important competition in Germany accepted from OIV in Paris and Government of economy - Germany.

The high quality wine SUNGURLARE MERLOT is of the appellation d'origine wines, produced from grapes coming from our own vineyards situated in the area of the picturesque Valley of the Roses.
